ProLinguo provides a top-quality service for your translations – which translates into peace of mind for you.
The translation and localisation of your documents are carried out by qualified specialist translators in accordance with high data protection standards, ensured by quality assurance management which complies with and even surpasses ISO 17100.
Because three people see more than just one, we work using the triple-control principle. With each job, you receive the following as standard:
With this commitment to quality, we even surpass the standards set by ISO 17100, which does not require translators and revisors to be native speakers.
No one can achieve mastery of a language to the same degree as a native speaker. That’s why ProLinguo works by the principle that all translators translate only into their mother tongue. This allows us to ensure that your translations are perfectly worded for your target group and that all linguistic and cultural particularities are observed. Misunderstandings are avoided from the outset.
Our consistent quality management system constantly monitors all workflows and results. Before we deliver any translation, it must be approved by our quality management process: our specialists check whether terminology, customer requirements and formal requirements have been adhered to.
This allows us to ensure that we meet all of our own requirements, stay up to date with technology and deliver excellent quality at attractive prices.
The security and integrity of your company and language data are ensured by ProLinguo’s data security policy.
A combination of information security, confidentiality and up-to-date security standards ensures that your sensitive data doesn’t end up in the wrong hands and is stored safely, ready to be accessed when you need it.
We set high standards in terms of the qualifications of our translators and revisors in accordance with ISO 17100. Only translators with qualifications from relevant universities or professionals who are qualified through multiple years of experience are allowed to translate for our customers. Before they can work for us on a regular basis, we examine the quality of our new translators in an evaluation phase.
Our project managers are also translators in principle: this means that our customers deal with skilled professionals with first-hand experience of this particular industry, who can provide quick assistance in matters relating to languages.
Through constant further training, our linguists and project managers are constantly developing their expertise and skills. Our customers benefit from the latest knowledge and technological trends of the translating industry and the constantly up-to-date expertise of our translators.
We work with fixed teams: this allows our translators and revisors to become ever more familiar with your field and particular requirements. This saves the need for clarifications and the quality of the translations increases continually.
The security of our customers’ data is guaranteed with us: there are robust confidentiality regulations in place for everyone involved in the translation process. All employees and freelancers are bound by strict confidentiality agreements.
From the very beginning, we consistently use CAT tools (applications for computer-assisted translation) to ensure the quality of our translations.
The centrepiece of every CAT tool is the translation memory, which grows with every project and recognises similarities to texts which have been translated previously. Translators can translate better and more quickly with the help of intelligent suggestions from the memory. Furthermore, the system ensures the consistency of formulations, figures and customer-approved expressions. Translation memories drastically reduce translating costs, as nothing needs to be translated twice.
We optimise and maintain your translation memory with every project so that all translated text is constantly included and available to the translators – including current terminology.
Terminology is an important tool for your company communication and specialist texts.
By using CAT tools, ProLinguo ensures the use of correct terminology in two ways: The integration of your customer terminology allows the translator to automatically view suggestions for the correct technical terms and use these in the translation. The translation memory also constitutes an important resource here. Our quality management checks the correct terminology use in an automated step and thus ensures that your specifications are implemented.
We integrate the knowledge of your employees by involving them in the growth of the terminology database, either through regular feedback or through coordination of terminology as Excel lists or in our Cloud platform.
Since 2006, we’ve been working in accordance with the applicable standards for the translation industry, ISO 17100 and its predecessor DIN EN 15038. We have been registered with DIN CERTCO (7U291) since 2007.
Among other things, the standard regulates the qualifications of linguists and project managers, quality assurance and project documentation and sets high quality standards. Revision by a second translator is expressly provided with translation services in accordance with ISO 17100.
