The IT department of a large company in Hanover is a permanent customer of ours.
We also regularly produce subtitles for them. Our most recent project was a tutorial video for the employees which now, thanks to our subtitles, facilitates better IT support in all 14 of the customer’s international subsidiaries.

Customer checks made simple
We have translated 40 Excel documents with a total of 270,000 words into German for the British subsidiary of a large German company.
The sticking points of the project were the on-site review by the customer’s German engineers and adaptation to local regulations.
With our ProLinguo Review Portal, the customer’s field experts could easily be integrated into the translating process. The Review Portal satisfied our customer with its easy operability: the comment, search and filter functions as well as the simultaneous processing of multiple files made the job far easier than with handling in Excel format.

Pathways conference
ProLinguo was hired by an environmental association for an international conference on the topic of species conservation and provided simultaneous interpreters for three languages, interpreting between German, English, Italian and French. We also provided the conference technology.

Agricultural conference with nine languages
ProLinguo assisted in a conference at an agricultural trade fair. The presentations were given in English and the requested target languages included German, Czech, Russian, Hungarian, Polish and Italian.
German was used as the relay language: because the interpreters were needed at very short notice, it was simpler (and cheaper for the customer) to interpret from German. This meant that we interpreted the English presentation into German and then into the target language.
A total of 18 simultaneous interpreters were involved for nine languages. We also provided the conference technology.
The customer was delighted and got everything from a single source: precisely briefed and excellently prepared interpreters, professional coordination and, ultimately, a successful conference.

We were the only translation agency capable of translating the product documentation of this medical device company without damaging the complex data structure.
For this reason, we have been their chosen translation partner for years and regularly deliver translations into 18 languages. This also includes professional foreign-language typesetting.
Our most recent project was a product catalogue in Chinese, which we delivered to the customer in print-ready form. This included the translation compliant with ISO 17100, the selection of text passages to be printed, the installation of Chinese fonts, composition in the foreign language and proofreading by our Chinese team as well as delivery as a print-ready file. Our DTP team’s Chinese language skills proved to be very advantageous in this case.
Thanks to our complete service, the effort and costs associated with the project were considerably reduced and our customer can rest assured that their technical documentation has been excellently converted into Chinese, in terms of both content and layout.
